Adding Tags
What is Tagging?
Tagging allows you to organize your digital photos and other important files.
Tags are keywords or labels that you can add to a file to make it
easier to find. With the concept of tagging, categorizing that sunset picture is much less of a dilemma. You simply tag it with the words sunset, Indian Rocks Beach, 2007 vacation, and any other words which might be appropriate.
Using Explorer Extension, you can tag a file or a group of files.
The menu below is displayed when "Tags" is chosen:

- The menu shows the last 10 tags that were recently used (this
way, you can quickly tag files using these most recently used tags).
- The "Current tags" menu item
(shown in gray) indicates the tag(s) of the currently selected file or the common tags if multiple files were selected
- The "More..." menu item will allow you to enter a new tag for
the selected file, or choose from a list of existing tags. "Enter a
new tag" can be used to tag the selected file(s) with any tag word(s)

How to Back up my Tagged files?
You can back up your tagged
files with SmartTags in the
Memeo Configuration Wizard. See
screenshot below:

The tags found on your computer
are listed under the "Select
tags" panel. By default, SmartTags
will search for tags in your My
Pictures and My Documents
folder.
You may select any tag you want
to backup by clicking the check
box. For every tag you select,
SmartTags will display
thumbnails of the files
found. Please note that
only 100 files are displayed
under "Preview" - there may be
more files to back up. The
number of tagged files found is
displayed on the bottom left.
Show Advanced
Options
The "Show Advanced Options" will display
folders where SmartTags searches
for your tagged files. You can
add
additional folders by clicking
on the "Add Folder"
button.
When the folder is added,
SmartTags will automatically
display the tagged files found
in that folder.
You can also enter additional
tags under the advanced options.
If you select the tag you just
entered and back it up, it will
be saved for future use.
Later on when you assign this
tag to other files, it will
automatically get backed up.
Furthermore, you can use this
option to enter a wild card tag.
For example, if you entered
"birthday", Memeo would backup
"21st birthday", "22nd
birthday", etc. In other
words, it would back up any
files containing the keyword
"birthday".
Memeo AutoBackup Premium will
not back up the entire folder
where the tags were found. Only
the tags you select will be
backed up.

Advanced Options" button. 2.
